I know. I know.  I'm probably a little bit coockoo.  Or maybe a lot coockoo.  BUT...I'm sure some of my Dog People can relate.  AND...studies DO show, that people with pets are more healthy, happy and live longer lives. http://animal.discovery.com/pets/live-longer-with-a-pet.htm . If you can't relate, I kindly suggest getting a dog of your own.

Design Intervention Specialists

Proof-of-concept for D.I.S. -- Design Intervention Specialists, a home-improvement show where friends stage an intervention for their good friends with bad taste. A design intervention. Hosted, produced and created by HGTV's Belma Michael Johnson ("Designed to Sell"). I met Belma at a Hosting workshop I attended at the Continuing Ed Center. Belma had this idea for a show. So this group of amazing women rallied together, and he lead us in production from start-to-finish. I'm telling you guys, this little workshop was really the thing that lit the fire in me to pursue hosting and acting...you know...the stuff that makes me happy!? Well...the workshop was ONE major factor...My Trip to India was another. :) So, WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY??? Take a class, join a group...venture out and try something you've always wanted to do. Hyundai Commercial

So this is what's called a "spec" commercial.  It basically is a proof-of-concept for a particular idea and execution for a commercial.  In this case, the production company IMNetwork Studios were chosen as finalists for a competition held by Hyundai.  This commercial was submitted  and may be used to produce a piece to be aired nationally.  It's good to know that I can play the role of mother of a son who is old enough to drive (WOWZERS!!!). Ironically enough, my first car was a little grey Hyundai Excel. I remember that sucker barely made it up the hill on the 805. But it sure did get us around!!! :)))) vroom vroom

Speed Shopping at Bellissima Spa & Boutique in North Park!

We did this promotional video for my friend Martha's salon and spa...."Bellissima"!!  Bellissima is pretty centrally located at 4242 Hamilton St in North Park.  Martha has been doing hair for about as long as I've been alive...but it's hard to beleive since she looks so YOUNG! :) Her salon is warm and inviting, with a wide assortment of super cute accessories to stimulate your eyes and inner diva.  Martha doesn''t waste any time making you feel right at home.  She specializes in gorgeous hair cuts, styles and brilliant color. I've seen her hombre masterpieces, and they're absolutely beautiful.  Her anti-aging facials are nothing short of amazing!  My favorite is her use of the frozen glass orbs to massage my face during treatment. So I got the job. Awesome Possum. This is a really cool opportunity to get paid while training and improving on my skills.  Feeling slightly more confidant now after doing a few shoots.  Getting more comfortable with the teleprompter...but I've noticed I need to watch the fidgeting with my hands...oh...and be careful with the head bobbing lol.

Welcome to Paradise...Kona, Hawaii

Little did I know, this was going to be one of my most MEANINGFUL & ENLIGHTENING trips ever.  Not often do I come to crystal clear realizations about important issues in my life.  But while here, I ended up receiving the greenlight that I needed from The Universe to RID MYSELF OF FEAR and embark on a new chapter.  :)
